Thanks for your feedback. It was a headache and took about 24hrs but it resloved all issues i've have with this upgrade and everything seems to be working just fine.
So, it might be just worth it. Any suggestions on how to get back to Windows 9? I don't see anything in W10 worth all of this trouble.
After you create a new account,do all of the apps magically appear in that account. What about all of the photos, files, etc? Why doesn't microsoft correct this instead o f having every one who uses W10 have to go through this trouble? It took Orjuwan 24 hours to accomplish this. Where is Windows 9? I have some success at changing 8. I am doing this from memory so I hope I haven't missed a step.
If I do, I'm sure that someone will find a work around. I'm not sure that thefirst few steps are necessary except to identify the 8. Click on the start button to bring up your available apps. I have an app named Apps and Features. Clicking on this app, and sorting by name, wll ibring up a list of all of your apps including the hidden or unavailable ones.
These are the ones you want to change. Go to the store and download one of these unavailable apps, install, it and run it. Not sure if you need to close. Click on the start button and click on the 3 lines that appear in the uppermost left corner. This has a list of the most used apps, buttons for power, and 4 or 5 other functions. No idea what this column is called. The name of the app that you downloaded, installed, and ran will be on this list.
Right click on it and pin it to the start page. There will be a lot of apps that are unavailable that were were originated by printer drivers, or something else. Not by you. Leave these alone. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.

Microsoft Store More Oct 29, AM in response to imodztech In response to imodztech. Unfortunately it doesn't work. I did everything changing date and the app doesn't appear in Notification, but in truth I didn't receive any request to Allow notification maybe the problem is here, but changing date wasn't enough. It happens with two apps today, planetromeo and hornet, for both nothing appear in notification menu. I Looked into both those apps, both are location based and do not use APN so you won't see them in Notifications.

Jan 26, AM in response to imodztech In response to imodztech. I'm having a similar problem with my Google Maps app. The app does not appear in my notification settings. When I go into my settings app and scroll down to find Google Maps, the app is there, but when I tap on it, there is no option for notifications within the app's settings.
I also uninstalled the app and physically waited 24 hours to reinstall. Didn't work. None of these attempts made the app appear in my notifications settings, and none of these attempts triggered the app to ask permission for push notifications.
I know that there are supposed to be notifications, because my boyfriend's phone has notifications enabled for Google Maps. I'm not sure when this bug first appeared, because I never needed the Google Maps notifications until a couple months ago when I bought a Pebble watch. However, I have seen a few people complaining of the same issue since iOS 8.
